This is the perfect time to see all the stunning Atlanta blooms at the botanical garden in Midtown Atlanta.
This is the garden’s annual celebration of its signature plant collection. Bask in the natural light of the Fuqua Conservatory, and welcome spring by immersing in nature.
Splash & Dash for the Ocean: Georgia Aquarium 5k Run
Date: March 8, 2025.
Join the 8th annual Georgia Aquarium 5k run for a great cause – supporting sea life!
The run crosses some of Atlanta’s most iconic landmarks, and is a qualifier for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race.
Tree Tour: Atlanta Beltline Arboretum Southwest Trail on the Beltline
Date: March 23, 2025.
The Beltline is one of my absolute favorite places in Atlanta with its stunning nature.
Walk the stunning Atlanta Beltline and learn all about native Atlanta wildlife and trees on this educational nature walk.
The walk is facilitated by a Trees Atlanta Docent, and starts off at the Best End Brewing Co., perfect for lunch afterwards.

2025 Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend
Dates: March 1 and 2, 2025.

Atlanta Science Festival
Dates: March 8 through 22, 2025.
This is Atlanta’s largest interactive science annual event with free admission. Picture interactive events and fascinating booths across a wholesome family-friendly event.
The fair is hosted in Piedmont Park. Look for booths by Zoo Atlanta and of course many more. Their website is updated in early March with the list of vendors.
Atlanta Brunch Festival
Dates: March 1 and 2, March 8, 2025.
This is probably one of my favorite spring festivals in Atlanta!
The Atlanta Brunch Festival is hosted at Atlantic Station and features the top restaurants, catering, and food trucks in Atlanta’s brunch scene.
Expect a live show with music by local artists and DJs, a lineup of highly rated brunch restaurants, and all the brunch vibes.
Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival
Dates: March 29 and 30, 2025.
This Brookhaven festival brings together live music and local food in an epic two day event that tops the list of local favorites.
Gavin Degraw will be among the musical lineup, and you can expect tons of exceptional food booths and an artist market rounding out the pet friendly event.
Expect two days of music, food, and community in one of Atlanta’s prettiest neighborhoods.
Uncorked Atlanta Wine Fest
Date: March 1, 2025.
This cozy Atlanta wine festival is hosted at Guardian Works on Atlanta’s West Side.
The festival features 50+ complimentary wine and craft beers to sample. There will also be live music and wine-themed activations to interact with.
Creators Market at Atlantic Station
Dates: Select dates throughout March.
This is a weekly festival that brings together tons of local artists and food vendors at Atlantic Station near Downtown Atlanta.
Shop tons of local artisans, jewelers, and makers from across Atlanta with free entry for shoppers.
Atlanta is filled with incredibly talented businesses, and this is the perfect place to grab one of a kind goods.

Atlanta Weather in March
Atlanta in March has mind weather. The average temperature ranges from 45 degrees Fahrenheit to 66 degrees Fahrenheit.
Honestly March might be the perfect season for you if you’re done with winter, considering so much of the United States is still deep in winter weather.
The flowers are starting to bloom on trees, and there is plenty of sun and mild weather, making March a great time to be in Atlanta.
Plus, with daylight saving time you gain that hour of extra daylight to enjoy special events in March!
