Best bachelorette party ideas
These are the best things to do in Atlanta for bachelorette party fun.
I had my bachelorette party in Georgia last year. Here are the bachelorette party ideas I considered, and the one I actually did (scroll to end!).
Cooking or cocktail making class
Book a cooking class and learn to hand-make pasta. Bellina Alimentari lets you make your own pastas, and when you’re finished, the chefs will even create a whole meal for you.
Or, schedule a private cocktail making class and learn to mix amazing cocktails or mocktails at 12 Cocktail Bar.
Girls night out
Head to Buckhead or Midtown Atlanta for a girls night out. Atlanta is full of great night life.
There are tons of venues to choose from, whether you want a night club, live music, rooftop pool, speakeasy, or something else.
My best advice is to pick a bar (or bars) with great drinks and a dance floor.
Some favorites to start the night are 12 Bar at Ponce City Market, or Moonlight in FOURTH Hotel.
For dance floor fun I’d choose Jojo’s for fun, retro vibes or Palo Santo for a Latin rooftop bar experience.

Brunch and Atlanta Botanical Garden
This is such a fun, girly bachelorette party activity. I love brunch with the girls, and Atlanta absolutely knows how to throw a brunch party.
A fun after brunch activity would be visiting Atlanta Botanical Garden, an amazing urban oasis, or High Museum of Art.
My top recommendations for a bachelorette brunch:
- 5Church in Buckhead for bottomless cocktails
- Delbar in Inman Park for delicious food that is super shareable
- Bar Margot in the Four Seasons Hotel for classic brunch vibes in a hotel setting
Make sure you book your reservation early, because Atlanta restaurants tend to fill quickly for large groups.
To plan the perfect bachelorette party, pick a fun vibe and a spot with good photo opportunities.

Interactive show or dinner
See a show or attend a dinner event in the city.
Atlanta is also known for high quality comedy show venues, lots of live music, and funky dinner shows.
If you’re looking for something super laid back, I love the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse that hosts dinners and impromptu shows.
Fox Theatre and Alliance Theater would be fantastic to dress up and go out on the town.
Escape rooms and group games
An interactive experience makes for such a fun thing to thing to do in Atlanta for your bachelorette party.
Atlanta has many highly rated escape rooms like The Escape Game Atlanta and Game Over Escape Rooms Atlanta.
Another super fun idea is to lean into the competitive spirit with group games at Painted Pin or Your 3rd Spot.
These venues have tons of space and typically don’t need a longstanding reservation.
Pole dancing class
I took pole dancing classes for a year, including a private class with a close group of girl friends.
So, I can say with confidence this is such a perfect bachelorette party activity.
Search for venues that serve private groups.
Beach trip
Get out of town and head to Savannah for a girls weekend.
Think slow mornings on the porch, oceanside picnics, and tons of time to relax.
Bring activities or games to do together in the evenings.

Laid back wine tasting
You’ll find laid back venues for wine tastings across Atlanta’s many neighborhoods.
Check out VinoTeca in Inman Park or City Winery in Old Fourth Ward for fun events with live music or full blown shows to accompany your wine tasting experience.

Tips for a perfect bachelorette party
Start with a core idea, add on a great meal, and continue the fun after the main event.
Build a simple bachelorette itinerary, but don’t stress about staying perfectly on schedule.
Sometimes going with the flow is even better than sticking to a perfect timeline.
Fun bachelorette party extras
If you want to plan a more intricate bachelorette party, you can look into things like party buses, hotel pool day passes, or exclusive concerts or shows.
Book an Airbnb for overnight stays in the city. Its so nice to have a perfect home base to come back to. An Airbnb is also a super cost effective option for larger groups.
Final thoughts
The best bachelorette parties match the brides vibe. The Atlanta area is honestly filled with so many unique and fun things to do.
