There’s a 65 acre old growth forest right in Atlan There’s a 65 acre old growth forest right in Atlanta. Fernbank Forest is a nature preserve, part of the larger Fernbank Museum campus. We visited on a sunny June day, and it was a beautiful place for a walk. The paths are well maintained, and you can stop to read the trail side plaques about plants and forest history. Exploring North Georgia wine country with Cana Win Exploring North Georgia wine country with Cana Wine Tours. A dear friend arranged this tour for my bachelorette party, and it was such a great time. Our driver picked us up right from our Airbnb and took us to three unique wineries we picked out ahead of time. Each winery had its own distinct character and flavors.
